The North Beaches of Grays Harbor County extend for 25 miles along the Pacific Coastline encompassing a history rich in Native American cultures, otter hunting, gold mining, commercial clamming, timbering, railroads, military bases and tourism. The railroad through the North Beach to Moclips at the turn of the century carried thousands to stay in the seaside resort. This house is built on part of the exact location of the south wing of the original 270 room resort hotel and newspaper articles and photographs of this site's history are displayed throughout the house.
